Gathering two people's stories — your mum and your dad, say? That is one gift each, so each story keeps its own private space, its own questions and its own book.

What the $59 really buys you

Keeping the answers is the easy part. Getting people to actually answer is the hard part — and that is where the work has gone.

Questions that fit the person

The questions for your mum are not the ones for your brother or your daughter. Pick the relationship and the whole set changes with it.

Questions every week, at your pace

They get questions by email on the day you choose — 3, 5, 10, 15 or 25 at a time, whatever suits them. Small enough to answer over coffee, and every answer lands straight in the space.

Never the same question twice

Each relationship has hundreds of written questions. Finish a hundred and open the next hundred free — up to a thousand per space.

Private until you give it

The person the space is for sees nothing until you press "Give the gift" — send it straight away or schedule it for a birthday or Christmas morning.

Questions people ask before paying

Do the answers turn into an actual book?
Yes, and it happens on its own. Every space has a "Read as a book" view: the questions and answers your family has written are arranged into chapters — early years, youth, love, family life, and the lessons they want remembered — with each person named under the stories they told. There is nothing to edit or lay out, it updates itself as new answers arrive, and you can print it or save it as a PDF. It is included in every plan at no extra cost.
Who actually answers the questions?
Both sides. The person whose story it is gets questions about their own life by email every week — you decide the day and how many arrive each time — answered by private link after a quick free sign-in. At the same time, you answer a separate set of questions about them in the app, at your own pace. Nobody has to finish first — the archive fills in from both directions. You can also invite other family and friends to add their own memories of that person.
Can my brothers and sisters help me build it?
Yes — that is how most families use it. When you invite someone who knows the person, they get their own questions and they can open the space to read everything and add their own memories, photos and recordings. You are building one gift together, not filling in separate forms.
Can the person it's for see it before I'm ready?
No. They only ever get their own questions to answer. They cannot open the space, read anyone's answers or see the photos until you press Give the gift — straight away or on a day you pick. You can close it again at any time.
Does someone have to answer the same question twice?
No. If your mum has already answered a question about her own life in one space, that answer is filled in for her when the same question comes up in another space — your sister's, for example. She can leave it as it is or change it. Nothing she wrote about you is ever copied into someone else's space.
How do I get everything out?
Open a space and press Download Word document. You get every question, answer, memory and a list of the files, as a document on your own computer. Plain text is there too. Nothing is ever locked in, including after your year is over.
Do they need to create an account?
Yes, a free one. They sign in when they open the link so their answers are saved and connected to them. Nobody you invite ever pays anything — one person buys the gift, everyone else joins in free.
Can we build one space together, as a gift?
Yes — that is the most loved way to use it. One of you opens a space for your mum, dad, grandma or granddad and invites the brothers, sisters and cousins with family access, so everyone adds the memories only they have. When it is ready you invite the person themselves, and they read everything their family remembers about them.
Can we use it in a language other than English?
The site and the questions are in English, but your family can write their answers in any language they like — every answer is kept exactly as it was written.
How many questions are there, and can we get more?
Every space starts with 100 questions written for that relationship. Whenever you finish a set you simply ask for the next 100 and they open straight away, at no extra cost — up to 1,000 per space. They are all written and reviewed in advance, never generated, and nobody is shown the same question twice.
Can they answer with their voice?
Yes. Answers can be typed, recorded as voice, or added as photos and film — an old voicemail included. Everything is stored privately in the same space.
Can I use it for my own story too?
Yes. A space can be about you, and then your children, partner and friends answer questions about their memories with you.
How many people can I ask?
One gift covers one person's story — your mum, for example. If you also want your dad's story, that is a second gift at $59. There is no limit on how many brothers, sisters, cousins and friends help fill a space; they all join free.
Who can see the answers?
Only you and the people you invite. Nothing is ever public, and you can remove someone's access at any time.
Is it really a one-off payment?
Yes. $59, once. There is no subscription, no renewal and nothing to cancel — your card is never charged again. The gift opens everything for a full year of gathering.
What happens after the year?
Nothing is deleted. The space stays there to read, and you can still download the whole archive and the book whenever you like. You only need another payment if you want to carry on adding new answers.

Sign in and look around free — no card needed. When you're ready it is one payment of $59, and there is a 30-day money-back guarantee.
